W&H Marketing Center app
W&H Marketing Center is software built and operated by Mathias Designs, LLC. We use it to manage advertising, product listings, inventory, search engine optimization and marketing content for e-commerce stores we own or operate, including W&H Custom Co. and Love Desk Mats, and for clients who authorize us to manage their accounts. This section explains how the app handles data. It applies in addition to the rest of this policy.
Platforms the app connects to
Depending on the store and the permissions granted, the app may connect through official APIs to services such as the Amazon Ads API, Amazon Selling Partner API, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Marketing API, Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy and LinkedIn. The app only accesses accounts that the account owner, or someone authorized by the owner, has connected through the platform’s own sign-in and consent screen.
Information the app accesses
- Advertising data: campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, targeting settings, budgets, bids and performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, spend, sales, conversions and return on ad spend.
- Catalog and store data: product listings, titles, descriptions, images, prices, variations and inventory levels.
- Search and site data: search queries, rankings, impressions and click data from Google Search Console, and aggregated website traffic data from analytics tools.
- Account details: account and profile IDs, store names and the access tokens needed to keep the connection working.
The app is designed to work with business and performance data. It does not request access to shoppers’ personal information beyond what a platform includes by default in the data needed for these features. If any shopper information is received, it is used only to provide the feature it came with and is not used for any other purpose.
How the app uses this information
- To show reports and dashboards of advertising, sales, listing and search performance.
- To generate recommendations, such as bid, budget, keyword and listing improvements.
- To make changes, such as adjusting bids, budgets or listings, only when an authorized user approves them or has turned on a specific automation for that account.
- To keep product listings, prices, photos and inventory consistent across connected sales channels.
- To create SEO and marketing content, such as product descriptions, image alt text, blog posts and social posts, for review and publishing.
AI processing
The app may send advertising, listing and performance data to an artificial intelligence service, such as Anthropic’s Claude API, to produce analysis, recommendations and draft content. This data is sent only to provide those features and is handled under the AI provider’s commercial terms. We do not send account passwords to AI services.
Storage, security and sharing
- Data is stored on servers and devices controlled by Mathias Designs. Access tokens are stored securely, and access is limited to the people who operate the app.
- We do not sell data obtained through the app, use it to build advertising profiles, transfer it to data brokers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the app’s features to the account it came from.
- Data from one store or client account is never shared with another client.
Google API data
W&H Marketing Center’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting and deleting app data
An account owner can disconnect the app at any time in that platform’s settings, for example Google Account third-party access, Meta Business Integrations, the Amazon Ads console or Shopify apps, or by asking us to disconnect it. To have data the app has stored about your account deleted, contact us using the details below. We will delete it within 30 days, except for information we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Quote requests we do not move forward with are typically deleted within two years. Client project records are kept for the length of the relationship and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Messages flagged as spam are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also opt out of any marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We will honor these requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making one. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and secure credential storage, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
